Wale Ayantoye is the global head of product Compliance and Risk Management at Flutterwave. Flutterwave's mission is to build payments infrastructure to connect Africa to the global economy.

In his role, Wale manages a product risk and compliance program that runs across over 35 countries and executes payments in over 130 countries globally. He is responsible for scaling the team, while developing and executing policies in accordance with the AML and BSA requirements.

Wale is also responsible for identifying, developing, training and implementing process improvements on various AML controls. He has extensive experience with and leading standard fraud investigations, sanctions, KYC, risk assessment, product and program improvement, and merchant onboarding.
